Artist Statement

Sue is a full-time visual artist and designer who refound her passion for drawing in 2017 and started experimenting with different mediums. Sue is fascinated with nature, in particular, wildlife and loves to draw and paint the details of feathers and fur. When painting and drawing animals, Sue will often start with their eyes and will spend a long time perfecting them. She finds that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and it’s what gives the finished piece its personality. Art has been Sue's whole life, and she loves that she is now able to realise her dream and become a full-time artist. Life doesn’t get any better than this!
