Artist Statement

As a completely self-taught artist, I haven’t been to art school or anything like that, so I don’t follow any rules about colour or lines. I just paint from my heart. And I paint only flowers, because they’re easy for me to draw and they make me happy. I just imagine the flower and draw it. All my paintings are filled with bright, cheery colours, which also make me happy. That’s why I love art. I use all sorts of media – acrylics, watercolours, chalk, gouache, pastels, paint pens … anything to bring lots of colours to the canvas! Life is short, I want my paintings to be bright and happy. Thank you.
