Artist Statement

I began my career in the arts in 1983 at Chelsea School of Art in London and completed my fine art degree at Curtin University in 1986. I have worked and exhibited in a range of formats and mediums including painting, sculpture/installations, tissue paper banners and bowls, silk scarves and my current interest in collage and botanical art. The process of collecting, sorting and placing leaves/papers in patterns makes you look more closely and examine the beautiful colours, the complexity of nature and our place in the pattern of the world around us.
