Artist Statement

Loreen O’Donnell commenced her art journey in July 2018, where she semi-retired from her Information Technology career of over 40 years. Having worked in most Australian capital cities as a Consultant, including Hong Kong, she decided to fulfil her dreams to create. Loreen’s work is inspired mostly by 'Google Earth' where the amazing aerial imagery available today reminds us to appreciate and protect our environment. The colours and the beauty are captured in her original acrylic work. Loreen is now venturing into alcohol inks and using these to create some special functional items such as handbags, scarfs, teapots, breakfast trays and also jewellery.
