Artist Statement

Working most frequently in abstract painting, her current artworks are detailed, with interwoven patterns and motifs that lead the viewer to explore every inch of the canvas. This is particularly so in her most recent collection of acrylic paintings, based on the theme of “the seed”. Her attraction to form and balance, combined with her love of the natural world, is evident in her detailed and stylised renderings of native seedpods that sit harmoniously alongside more abstract elements.
