Martin Cahill and Paul Wolfe
Martin has been painting for 10 years, guided by six mentors who helped evolve his art from vibrant geometric styles to self-portraits, birds, scenery, flowers, and people. When selecting subjects, Martin filters what he sees, starting with detailed sketches before bringing them to life with brush strokes and colours. His favourite subjects include self-portraits, his dad, and family members.
Paul has always been a creative person, expressing himself in 2 and 3 dimensional works, including boat building, stained glass, making furniture and making wood sculptures. His current hobby is oil painting where he likes to challenge himself and explore his capabilities. At this exhibition you will see some of his oil painting and many small and interesting wooden boxes.
