Artist Statement

Hi, I am Lois Moir and I have been painting in watercolour for the last 10 years. I have learned my craft from a variety of short courses and now love to paint and draw. I am inspired by nature, the Australian bush and colours of creation, and love painting these in watercolour. I have recently done a 15 week course online with Chan Dissanyake, a watercolour master. I enjoy experimenting with water based media, and trying new techniques. I have also recently started playing with fabric and thread, developing my skills with “thread painting”
