Artist Statement

Having built a reputation for her signature sunsets, clouds and daylight paintings over the last 20 years, Joan has now begun to push her horizon further and further into the sky. Her fascination with space has combined perfectly with her drive to discover new techniques using acrylic, oil and now including pastel paintings to produce these new works.
