Artist Statement

Jenifer Forrest is a fine artist with over 25 years of experience working in watercolour, acrylic and mixed media. Inspired by the landscapes of coastal Western Australia and the Wheatbelt, Jenifer’s work explores the colours, light, shadows and natural patterns found within the Australian environment. She is particularly drawn to the symmetry and harmony present in landforms, plant life and the animal kingdom, finding within nature a quiet, almost spiritual sense of wonder. Through her paintings, Jenifer seeks to capture more than what is seen — inviting the viewer to pause, reflect and reconnect with the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Commissions welcome.
