Artist Statement

Carol produces abstract art: unpretentious, expressive, gestural, bold, bright. Currently Carol is exploring abstract landscapes inspired by her memories of her travels around Western Australia. All works are on canvas, mostly acrylic, always textural. Recently Carol’s abstract piece “Filling in the Silences” was acquired by the City of Belmont WA for their collection. Carol lives in the beautiful Margaret River region of Western Australia. She has a degree in Social Science and English, has co-produced an award-winning documentary that was screened at The Sydney Film Festival in 2014 and now she paints - daily, prolifically, joyfully and boldly.
