Artist Statement

My paintings are mostly inspired by my love of nature, as I love taking long nature walks early in the morning, by the beach while listening to the ocean, or by a lake listening to the birds sing. Most of my paintings are from the photos I take while walking. I love painting seascape, landscape, flowers and animals. It mostly depends on what catches my eye and how I feel on the day. I paint in acrylic, oil and pastels. My paintings are loose and free float, without too much detail to create a calming and peaceful effect .
